What percentage of you still working on your own in your company? If you have any contact with me or have had the pleasure of working with me, are aware that I’ve only two words to describe it”that’s stupid!”
I’m sure that in the beginning, entrepreneurs believed they could do everything on their own. Or, you may be of the opinion that you’re not able to engage a professional. However, the reality is that you’ll need help, even if it’s just 5 hours per month. There’s no way to do this on their own. Nobody!
What are the reasons you think you’re special? or as you know, Dr. Phil would say: “How’s it working on behalf of you?” It’s crucial to begin thinking about the future growth of your company from the moment you step INTO the business. Also, begin thinking about your company. The organizational chart you create should reflect where you’re headed and growing and not reflect the current situation.
There are numerous reasons why entrepreneurs don’t recruit team members. Let’s examine the reasons.
Here are a few possible reasons to consider why you are not doing your best and some ideas on how to handle it:
1. You don’t know where to begin.
Many business owners know (intellectually) the fact that they must be hiring team members, but they aren’t sure where to start. You’re an expert in your field but don’t have any background or understanding of hiring someone.
A tip for entrepreneurs: All entrepreneurs require an assistant – whether it’s in person or virtual – you require assistance. Begin by creating your list of everything you have on the To-Do list – then classify them into two columns that are Revenue-Generating and Non-Revenue-Generating. The non-revenue Generating items should be delegated and delegated. Look over this list and decide which class they belong to, like admin, tekkie, and social media (for instance). There are resources that can assist you in finding the best support. Your best option is to inquire for recommendations. Talk to your coach or with your mastermind peers, or ask questions on FB or LinkedIn. You are sure to receive good advice to help you get started. The most important thing is to do it.
2. You tell yourself you can’t get help.
It’s a prevalent issue. It isn’t a bad idea to employ help from the beginning or when you expand your company. You may require some help when you begin to build your business. The idea that you’re not able to pay the cost of hiring staff members could be more of a mentality than any other thing.
Tips: Determine the amount of income you’d like to earn over the course of a month. Calculate the number of hours you’ll need to be working. Calculate your hourly wage and the number of hours you will have to put in to earn the amount of money you need to earn. Look back at the list you prepared earlier in the first paragraph. It is likely that you spend lots of time doing those activities that are not revenue-generating. If you’ve outsourced or delegated at least five hours of work to an associate, consider the numbers. It’s still a win, and you’ve had assistance in doing it. Statistics tell the whole reality, not a persona.
3. Do not fret about what OTHERS think
Speaking of mindsets, geesh! Worrying about what other people think, whether it’s worry about your relatives, friends, or even personal thoughts, It’s time to not be worried about what other people think. Suppose you’re just starting out as an entrepreneur and are still in need of help. It is essential to get help at the beginning is among the most brilliant things you can accomplish in your business.
Tips: Create a list of the advantages and disadvantages of employing an assistant. It is easy and quick to discover the many benefits of having assistance. It allows you from doing numerous other things that are of greater worth.
One thing that a lot of entrepreneurs do not consider when they think about having an assistant or a team is the fact that you can have a backup in case life hits you on the head. It is unpredictable! Being able to have someone on your team who is there for you and is able to keep the team going is among the main reasons to seek out assistance.
That’s it. If this article doesn’t create some confusion for you in regards to creating an effective team, I do not know what will. Make sure you are serious about your company. Start by following the rules. Start today by taking action. You’ll be glad you did.
