1. Know your target audience
Do you know who you’re pitching your products to? What criteria do they meet? Are they young or old female or male married or not? You should be aware of who is more likely to purchase your product. People who don’t care about your company tend to not speak about it, while people who are interested are more likely to share their thoughts with other people.
2. Speak to influential people
Engaging with people you’re trying to target your business towards is an effective method to get your message in the public, but it may be more efficient. Engage with someone of an influence, someone who a lot of followers follow. Go to social media websites and look for individuals in your local area who are popular and regularly post. If someone who is influential is talking about your company this will be more popular with people. Do not bombard them with unintentional emails and calls. Be considerate of people, not business customers. Find out more about them and start conversations to go on.
3. Create an online community
If you can create an online community of prospective customers, it’ll benefit your company, as you’ve got your ideal customers exactly where you’d like them to be. Make yourself visible on social media and gradually increase your following with potential clients. It may take some amount of time but could also be very effective. The greater the number of people you’ve connected with online and the more people are able to recommend you to others.
4. Make sure you are consistent with your offering
However big or small is your online community is, make sure that you keep them interested by regularly posting regardless of whether it’s related to your business or other topics. People are less likely to be interested in your company and you when you don’t update your website regularly. Keep your website’s pages up-to-date and make sure that your posts are interesting and connect with your and your company.
5. Ask for people to recommend you
It’s not a bad idea to simply ask people to discuss your business with you. Be patient and courteous obviously; also, tag the conversation until the conclusion of the conversation to ensure it doesn’t feel like a sham. It’s best to be polite and say that you’d appreciate it to have people share the news. Be aware that people are likely to speak about your company if they think it’s good. If they’ve had poor customer service or have a myriad of other reasons to complain They may be able to spread the word but it’s not a positive and negative word of mouth can hinder efforts to increase the growth of your business. The customer always knows what’s best for them, so treat them well and they’ll likely share the news, even if you must solicit their help for it politely.
6. Give them something in exchange for nothing
It’s rare to receive something for free nowadays, so it’s always nice to receive something free. Offer your customers and prospective customers something for free no matter if it’s just a small sample or a postcard featuring one of your artworks or something similar. This is a remembrance of your company and you. People will be more likely to remember your name if they’ve got something that stimulates their memory.
7. Manners are a great way to go and are free
Always go the extra mile, and always be courteous and friendly to everyone. If someone buys something be sure to thank them. Engage them in conversations. Invite them to join in conversations. Offer to assist them. Always be courteous and place the customer’s and prospective customer’s needs before your own.
