However much you believe that everyone would need the services you provide, you’ll still have to decide the people you’re trying to get to, or else you won’t be able to convince any person. This might seem contradictory. If everyone wants your product, why shouldn’t everyone purchase it?
Let me provide you with an example, and then I’ll give you the solution.
Let’s suppose that you require a car.
You then decide to walk, drive or just walk down to that area in which there are several or more dealers. Then you begin to walk through. One of the first things that grab you is the number of kinds of vehicles included, such as 2-door, 4-door pickups, pick-ups with cabins, soft-tops, and SUVs. Vans…
Then you realize that each of them will take the person you’re to the destination you’d like to be.
Because the majority of people require an automobile, Why aren’t all of them identical? The reason may not be based on the individual’s needs, but also your personal opinion.
Family-friendly cars must be large enough to hold the entire family; therefore, the 2-seater sports car will not fit the bill for them. However, the drivers are all putting themselves in a distinct category in comparison to other drivers.
It’s the reason you have various brands, too. Customers who buy Mercedes-Benz have different views than the people who purchase Skoda. Both cars can get you to where you want to go.
This is true for your industry. Your customers will be different than other people, even though you offer products that accomplish much or more the same things. Your customers will be able to see themselves making use of your product, but not as an opponent.
Which niche?
Now the question is: what niche is it?
If you don’t have something like a talent, You’ve probably realized that it’s not easy to choose. The reason for this is that it’s hard to discern the forest from the trees. This means that when you begin considering what niche to enter, it becomes apparent that the number of people is already involved in the niche that interests you.
It is easy to believe that since there’s already plenty of competition, maybe that’s not an ideal place to begin at all. Then, you consider the second option and realize that there are plenty of individuals in the field as well.
And once you’ve explored the ten or so areas that you were interested in and you start to think about whether there are any remaining.
We consider areas with a large number of competitors as saturated. Most business experts will advise that you should stay as far from these areas as you can. I’ll return to that later.
There’s another type of niches. I prefer to call them stagnant niches. An unproductive niche would be one that is where little or nothing is happening. Perhaps there are around a dozen or more large firms that basically dominate the market.
The oil industry is similar to this. While they won’t admit it, the truth is that it’s more of a cartel rather than a free enterprise. However, this article is about online businesses, which is why it’s the best illustration.
On the Internet, there are three main market segments: making money in health, relationships, and money. When you take a look, it appears as if there’s no room in one of them for anybody other than you.
What are some areas that appear to be stagnant in these market segments?
In the money-related niche, the “get-rich-quick” market has been stagnant. This is because everyone knows that it’s not going to occur. The only ones who aren’t yet are the ones who frequently play on gambling websites. (I’m going to make this clear here. This may cause a few feathers. However, I’m doing it for your own benefit. The only ones who earn profits in this industry of gambling are casino owners. Forget about the lottery, the scratch cards, and tables – everything. If the people who run these businesses were not making profits, then they would not be doing it. The only way to earn money is to take your money. We’ve warned you.)
The niche of getting rich quickly However, it has been replaced by the get rich quickly niche, and more people are falling for the niche every single day.
I’m hoping that you’re not among them.
In the health market, select one of the diet plans that were popular in the last five to ten years, and you’ll be able to come across some that haven’t been popular for a while. The same is true for the market for relationships.
What should you be looking for?
The next thing we have to consider is what is your area of expertise?
A majority of people look at the category of stagnation. This is because they wish to be able to keep their distance from the competition.
If you’ve ever watched Dragon’s Den in the UK or Shark Tank in the US, You’ve been told by young business professionals that this market or market could be to enter. (I don’t trust Wikipedia as an authoritative resource of info; however, someone took the effort to determine all versions of this show around the world, including the entrepreneurs with cash.)
So if you think that you shouldn’t be able to enter a specific market due to the overwhelming competitors, the odds of you securing the ideal market are very slim.
Why would I do this?
Simply because this is where the money is.
If nobody were spending any money in these specific areas, then there wouldn’t be a lot of competitors. If you decide to pick one where competition is meager, you’ll notice how much money being circulated in that market is also relatively low.
That means that there are fewer people trying to take part in a smaller portion of the pie.
What should you do?
The solution is to enter into a highly-demanding niche and then flip it around.
Let’s look at the category of Money as an instance. It’s my opinion that it’s the busiest of the three online markets.
Are there any sought-after ways to earn money online? List five methods that people are using to earn money online. You should ensure that each of them is located in an area that is interesting to you.
Create an inventory of 10,20 or 30 solopreneurs or businesses which dominate this niche. Then, you’re ready to analyze them. The distinctions between them are what differentiate them in comparison to their rivals and will not be of significance to you. What you should examine are the commonalities in them.
That is, You want to know what others are doing. This is where your opportunity lies.
It is possible to change the direction of a market by finding ways to be more efficient than everyone else within your field. Your competition will look for ways to save money to achieve this. They’ll all be searching for more efficient methods. They might even be looking for ways to make their business more efficient. But very few of them will consider the reason the business model isn’t functioning.
If you can figure it out, it could change the game for all others in the market. You’ll be the top expert due to the fact that you came up with it.
In the end, you’ll find that there are plenty.
