I am sorry for the strong language, which isn’t usually part of my vocabulary. However, I really wanted to draw your attention.
I’m bored of talking to people who aren’t able to decide! Aren’t you? Many people call themselves entrepreneurs, and say they’re serious about expanding their business, are offered huge opportunities, and… they say… “let me think about it.
What? You’re given a chance to be a winner, and it’s usually by someone who knows and admires you. they say, “let me consider it”? (for days, for weeks… !)
I know that certain major decisions take time to contemplate, but We’re not discussing the kind of life-altering choices that will have an impact on your business. It’s about an opportunity to attend an event or an opportunity to participate in something that is a simple”yes or no” answer.
I’ll ask you the question: “Is it hard to come to a choice ?… to give a simple “yes or no” answer when given a chance?
So, what’s in the first place? It’s all about the way you think and the ability to critically evaluate opportunities for your company. One of the most important aspects to success in business is being able to make a decision and then to make the right decision should it be required (a fantastic Larry Winget quote!)
This is what I’ve found within my own work. You just need to know how to make the right decisions in order to advance. I’ve been told many times, “well, it’s not difficult for you”! You are correct, in fact.
When you expand your business, things will change, as do people. And you have to make decisions to be in the best interests of your company. As a business coach, I am aware of what my clients require and desire. As a business owner, I know what’s best for my company, for my team, as well as for myself. (and I’m one of the most intelligent people because I work with the most incredible business coach, and I receive excellent advice… therefore, my choices aren’t just based on my random whims!)
The hardest part is deciding to do something, and the rest is determination. The fearful are like paper tigers. You are able to do whatever you choose to do. You have the power to alter and direct your life and, in the process, its own reward. ~ Amelia Earhart
I’m confident that the business you run will continue to grow exponentially once you, too, are able how to make choices.
Here are three points you should be thinking about:
1) “WHAT YOU WANT IN YOUR BUSINESS.”
Once you’ve determined what you’re looking for – you must know that, believe it be aware of it, experience it, and do it. I am aware of what I want from my work, so making decisions is simple. I can tell when to say YES, and I also know what to do when I need to decide to stay away. I also take swift and decisive actions – that’s the way that successful people function. Don’t haw and humming!
2) HAVE A PLAN – AND WORK THE PLAN!
I design a business plan each year for my business in conjunction with my hugely profitable business mentor. She is an expert! I’m not planning to create a wheel. We have a strategy, and I follow the plan. I am focused. It is also easy to make choices – you be aware of how to put them in a bag and know how it is time to put them away. Find a coach, get an action plan – implement your strategy. Make the most of opportunities when they pop on the table, particularly when they are offered by successful, respected individuals. Do it!
3) KEEP GROWING!
Entrepreneurs who are successful are always moving and growing! Who do you associate yourself with? If you are invited to these events, you accept. You then figure out how! Many of us are getting caught up in the ‘how of it all. If you’re one of them, it’s time to take a step back since you’ll be eating dust! Take the initiative. Learn to say YES!
“On those plains, the stains of doubt are the bones of the countless millions of people who, at moment of decision were forced to sit down and waited to die.” ~ Sam Ewing
So, my question for you is: are you prepared to make the right decisions this week to bring your business closer to success?
Are you willing to say”yes” to opportunities and invitations placed in front of your face?
Do you want to stop the self-inflicted and self-abuse you’ve been suffering from because you aren’t sure what to do to make the right choice?
